Crystal Castles
Be still, my electronica-loving heart. Crystal Castles brings its danceable and equally thrashable electro-noise to the Uptown October 16. Notable openers include HEALTH and Kontravoid. The door time for the all-ages show is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $33.

Also, Regina Spektor will return to Kansas City this fall. The utterly adorable singer-songwriter will perform at the Music Hall on November 7. Show at 7:30 p.m. Tickets $45-$60.

On the recently reported (but not yet on the venues' calendar) front:

According to Paste, John Vanderslice is headed out on a short tour with Crooked Fingers this fall. Look for the pair at RecordBar on November 10 (bonus: He'll perform at Mojo's in Columbia, Missouri, November 9.)

And Pitchfork recently reported that Mount Eerie (also known as Phil Eleverum) will play what one can assume will be an intimate show at the Lawrence Arts Center on September 25.
