It's not the black of the Oakland Raiders, but it certainly won't be Chiefs red when Tony Gonzalez returns to Arrowhead Stadium Sunday as a member of the visiting Atlanta Falcons. The star tight end talked to the Associated Press about what it will be like when he steps out in the field in KC, saying it would be both "special" and "a little weird."

Gonzalez spent the first 12 years of his career in Kansas City, and this is now his third season in Atlanta. It's his first trip back to Arrowhead. A lot of emotions get stirred up when a guy whom you consider to be a local is back in front of you. I can remember being in a Boston bar when a longtime Bruin hoisted the Stanley Cup with the Colorado Avalanche — the bar roared like Beantown had won. And I can remember Fenway Park when Johnny Damon returned for the first time as a member of the New York Yankees — the word "vitriol" doesn't do it justice. When Gonzalez is announced or makes a catch, will you be cheering or booing this Sunday?
