MetropolitanKC (200 West 12th Street) is the name of the new restaurant run by executive chef Ronnie Kotz. There's a barbecue salad with burnt ends, chicken piccata made with Campo Lindo Farms' chicken, and a 20 oz. cowboy steak. MetropolitanKC is part of a dining overhaul at the Marriott. In July, the bar and lounge was relaunched as Barcentral. The new restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The first service (which includes a breakfast buffet) is from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and dinner is from 5 to 11 p.m.
