- Iron Maiden is now in the beer business.
You may have thought that Iron Maiden reached the Final Frontier with its 15th studio album back in 2010, but the British rockers apparently had one last trick up their sleeveless black T-shirts. The British heavy-metal band is set to release Trooper
, a beer created for the group by Robinsons Brewery in Britain [h/t Laughing Squid
]. It's a deep golden ale with a subtle hint of lemon.
And as singer Bruce Dickinson explains in a video about the new ale, this is meant to be a long-term collaboration with Robinsons. Trooper is set to be available in May. Perhaps you can use one to raise a toast to former drummer Cliff Burr, who passed away Tuesday.
