Thus, it's a bit of a surprise to learn that Missouri is considering adopting jumping jacks as its official exercise. The Kansas City Star reports that state Rep. Pat Conway (D-St. Joseph) has introduced a bill, as he did last year, seeking to deem jumping jacks as the official exercise of Missouri. State Sen. Rob Schaaf (R-St. Joseph) has introduced a similar bill in the Missouri Senate. So it's good to know that something has bipartisan support.
