You need to make sure you get your daily dose of B vitamins. And at Bacon-Fest, the "B" can stand for beer, bands or bacon. The annual fundraiser for the Rehabilitation Institute of Kansas City (3010 Main) returns Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. Admission is $40, which includes bacon in dishes ranging from appetizers to desserts; beer; a commemorative cup; and a T-shirt.

You'll find plenty of art, music and food at Parkville Days, English Landing Parking in Parkville. The 45th annual celebration has a jam-packed schedule that includes a parade, a beer tent, and a heap of jazz and blues. Admission is free for the event, which runs 6-10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m-10 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.

The Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault holds its Young at Art Cocktail Party and Auction from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, at the Uptown Theater. The auction features work from local artists, and food stations offer appetizers, desserts, beer, wine and martinis. The event benefits MOCSA's Art and Play Therapy programs, designed to help child victims of sexual abuse express themselves. Tickets start at $75.

Forget Paris. The 24th annual Tour de Shawnee is Sunday. The 12-mile and 25.75-mile bicycle routes both begin and end at Power Play Family Entertainment Center (13110 W. 62nd Terr.). Registration is $30 and includes breakfast, lunch and snacks. The event benefits the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Check-in begins at 6:30 a.m., and the tour kicks off at 7:30 a.m.

JJ's Restaurant (910 W. 48th St.) is holding its 28-1/2 year anniversary party on the site of its former building on Sunday. The party begins on the street in front of the restaurant at noon with barbecue, beer and wine being sold.

What have you got on tap for the weekend?
