This week’s incoming themes: live-ish dance music, eclectic grooves, comedians.

Sleigh Bells is stopping in Lawrence this time around. The electro-pop duo will rattle the Granada on Tuesday, October 23. Support from AraabMuzik. Door time for the all-ages show is 7 p.m. Advance tickets are $20.

Beats Antique will bring its electro-acoustic, experimental dance (etc., etc.) music to the Beaumont on Thursday, October 25. Door time for the all-ages show is 8 p.m. Support from Lynx. Advance tickets are $15.

The MarchFourth Marching Band will get all brassy at the Beaumont on Halloween (a Wednesday). The all-ages show begins at 8 p.m., so there will be plenty of time to raise hell in Westport after the music has ceased. Advance tickets are $12.

And the Midland is bringing George Lopez and Jerry Seinfeld to Kansas City in October. See Seinfeld on Friday, October 12. Door time for the all-ages show is 6 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 24, at 10 a.m. Catch Lopez’s 18-and-older show on Friday, October 19. Door time is 7 p.m., and tickets are $40.50-60.50.
